RWE's Nordseecluster A passes halfway mark

The construction milestone moves the 660-MW project's risk into the second half of the build.

RWE has installed half the turbines at its 660-MW Nordseecluster A, Renewables Now reported Aug. 31, a construction marker that leaves the project's real test unfinished. The second half of an offshore wind build is where schedule risk concentrates: the weather window narrows, and every week of delay makes the installed steel more expensive to carry.
